Sonia Styling

SoniaStylingHeadshotMy guest this week doesn’t need much of an introduction because I am fairly certain you have all heard of her. Let’s see if you can guess (and pretend you didn’t see the title or the photo to the left here!) … she is an Adelaide-based life and style blogger who adores fashion, writing, connecting on social media and if you pour her a glass of wine, she’ll love you forever. Yes! It’s Sonia and her blog – Sonia Styling – is a cocktail of fashion, life, beauty and homewares, all served with a dash of sass, a sprinkling of humour and a generous pour of honesty. But did you know her 5 favorite things …\

Leopard Print

I consider leopard print to be a neutral – it goes well with just about anything. Clearly my love of leopard has become a bit of a “thing” and people now tag me whenever they see a leopard print item they think I would like, which I think is equal parts hilarious and cool. Leopard is a timeless and classic print that suits just about everyone and will never go out of style. You can quote me on that!

Coffee

Coffee

I know a lot of people say they can’t live without coffee, but it’s the ritual that I actually can’t live without. Every single morning, my husband makes us both a (proper) coffee while I make our breakfast. He makes a seriously good coffee and I don’t take this for granted, so I always make sure I say thank you and savour every last sip. It’s without a doubt my favourite part of the morning.

Our Puppy

Amalfi

I’d been on at my husband for several years to get a dog. Finally, last year it was time and an adorable little ball of fluff who we named Amalfi (after one of the favourite spots from our honeymoon) came into our lives. He’s brought us so much joy and laughter – and vet bills – but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Amalfi is such a loveable larrikin and makes friends with every dog and person he meets.

Happy Hour

HappyHour1

For me, there’s really no better feeling than enjoying that first sip of wine on a Friday evening. So much so, I started a hashtag on Instagram called #soniastylinghappyhour. Basically, it’s like my own pretend bar where we can all share a drink together any day of the week. My favourite Happy Hour drops include Pinot Grigio (or Gris, depending on where it comes from), Sangiovese, Champagne or a classic vodka, fresh lime and soda. Cheers!

My Blog

SoniaBlogging

I feel incredibly lucky to have a little corner of the internet where I can share my writing, thoughts and feelings and even luckier to have such engaged, thoughtful and kind readers. I’ve been blogging for just over a year now. Some days it feels much, much longer than that and other days, I wonder how I’ve been able to achieve so much in such a short amount of time. Even if no one was reading, I’d still blog because within me beats the heart of a storyteller who is also a chronic over-sharer…!

Thank you for sharing your Friday Favourites list with us Sonia. I am with you on defining a ‘proper’ coffee and I am spoilt on a daily basis with my husband’s barista skills.

You can catch Sonia on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest or head straight to her fabulous blog to say hello.

Tell me, what’s on your #myfridayfavourites list?
