Stitching Rules

I know the stitching rules

This week I have asked Debra from Stitching Rules to share her top five Favourite Things with us. On her blog she shares tips, tutorials and information for people wanting to expand their sewing skills beyond basics. This is great because I am at the basics level at the moment. She even sells her sewing patterns through her Etsy shop – Very Debra.

These are Debra’s top 5 favourite things at the moment….

1. “Vikings” on SBS Monday and Thursday nights – so many great and strong characters. I don’t mind a good battle scene either.

Stylearc Patterns2. New Style Arc patterns – I’ve been admiring these patterns for a while and thought the jeans and cardi patterns might be a good place to start considering that’s usually what I live in during winter.

3. My new Inner-B planner – Seeing all the Filofax’s and planners on Pinterest reignited my passion for diaries, and the colour is a favourite at the moment too.

fabric4. Red paisley fabric – to be made into a top for winter. It’ll go nicely with jeans or a denim skirt.

I must admit that I am loving watching Vikings at the moment too, such a great show despite all the gore. These cold nights make it the perfect show for snuggling up on the couch with a “nana rug” to watch it. And the blue colour of that planner is gorgeous! Thank you Debra for sharing your favourite things.
