Wanderlust Hong Kong & Link Party
This week for Wednesday Wanderlust I am jumping on a plane and am off to Hong Kong in China. This is a whirlwind trip so let’s get stuck in to what I’d do.
I’d make my way to The Peak to see the top of the city views with the skyscrapers, glittering harbour waters and green hills all in one vista. Then go down to Tsim Sha Tsui Promendade to see the skyline from the waterfront. And watch the Symphony of Lights, the world’s largest permanent light and sound show. Of course I would do some shopping and visit all of the markets across the city including the Flower Markets, Pet Markets (entire markets dedicated to birds or goldfish!!), Ladies Market, Stanley Market, Temple Street Night Market and oh the list goes on.
Disneyland – seriously, do I need to say more on this! Besides, I think the little faces looking over my shoulder right now would simply die if I didn’t include this. Image: Hong Kong Disneyland
I would want to eat all the eats. The noodles, dumplings, seafood, tea, desserts, oh my the food is all so enticing and worth a trip on its own. All I have to do is cure myself of my severe MSG reaction and I’m good to go! Image- BrokenSphere Wikimedia Commons
There is so much to see and do in Hong Kong that this barely even touches on it, but like I said, it was a whirlwind Wanderlust.
