Wanderlust Link Party

I have been looking around the last couple of weeks for a travel link party, blog hop, linky, whatever you want to call it and have struggled to find one. I did find a few other link-less travel friends too, so I figured the best solution was to start one myself.

I have been writing a Wednesday Wanderlust post every week now since May this year. That’s 8 months of dreaming about places I would love to travel to and sharing it with you. It has been great fun, as has been writing my own travel stories of places I have actually been. Even better than that, I love to read other people’s travel stories. What better way to do this than to host a wanderlust link party!

Everyone has a travel story to tell. Somewhere you want to go or somewhere you have been. Somewhere far away, or perhaps a little closer to home. Maybe you have written some travel tips or advice. Maybe you wrote it this week or maybe it was a year ago. It doesn’t matter. I want to give everyone the chance to share their travel posts every week with a bunch of people who want to read about it.

Not everyone who reads Wednesday Wanderlust will want to link up, that’s ok, stick around, say hello! But here is some basic etiquette or rules if you would like to be involved.

Just one. Please only link up one post per week. And try not to link up the same post twice. The link up will open on Wednesday morning and close Sunday night to give everyone a chance to get their submissions in.
Visit. Don’t just link and run, please visit a couple of your fellow party goers links, leave a comment, pin it, share it, whatever you do, show some support and interest.
Link Back. You don’t have to, but it would be nice if you linked back with the link button below or even just a text link.
Share! Let everyone know about the link party because this is only effective and fun if lots of people get involved.
Follow. Follow the blogs that interest you so you don’t miss out on any of their other amazing posts. And follow me so you don’t forget to link up each week, or whenever you can.
