Daisy Chains

I love playing in the backyard with my girls and at the moment we have a lovely patch of clover flowers so I decided to show my daughters how to make daisy chains. We made fairy crowns, necklaces, anklets and rings.

I fondly remember doing this when I was a child and we would make them out of all sorts of things. Do you remember doing this?

We even set up a store where there were workers (me) making flower chains and selling them. Miss 1 was hot and decided to dunk hers in the water play table before putting it back on her head and it was actually a great way to keep cool. Even the dog was crowned, much to his frustration.

Activities with the kids don’t have to be overly expensive or complicated. They find joy in the simplest of things.
